After having a great time at dunk!USA in Burlington, Vermont we planned to stick around and enjoy that part of the USA. We made sure Detroit was on our route to visit Third Man Pressing and see if we could learn anything there. We didn't have an appointment with someone at the factory but I was glad to see that their store had a big window to the production floor with all the Newbilt presses installed. Our schedule only allowed us to be there during the weekend so the machines were not working but I was able to talk to someone working in the store who also organized the guided tours through the factory. We didn't get a tour but we already knew how the machines worked so I was more interested in his personal opinion about the Newbilt press. He told us they were very happy with how it worked, quality was good, of course setting everything up took some time but they were the first to install these new machines.
